Our Rosenblatt Marine Technical Division (RMTD) is dedicated to providing engineering services supporting the U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command, and U.S. Coast Guard ship design. The RMTD enhances The Columbia Group’s maritime capabilities and services as a premier provider of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering services on both the national and international stages.

Services attendant to these design and engineering disciplines include all milestone elements, from design through retirement, required for successful performance and mission goals of ships, systems, or equipment. These include Feasibility Design, Concept Design, Contract Design, Detail Design, and Life-Cycle Design Support.

The RMTD has provided design and engineering services for virtually every type and class of U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and Military Sealift Command (MSC) ship as well as quality program management and support services for shipyards, ship owners and operators, governments, and commercial clients. The Columbia Group is committed to building RMTD into the nation’s most respected ship design team, consonant with our goal to ensure that the highest levels of DoD and U.S. Navy quality standards for programs are achieved at every level of effort on our customer’s behalf.
