The Columbia Group’s Rosenblatt Marine Technical Division (RMTD) provides design, modification, or modernization of all shipboard fluid systems, auxiliary systems, propulsion systems, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Engineering capabilities include:  ship survey, all design levels, documentation development, system detail design, construction services, and fleet support.

We utilize industry standard CAD and CAE programs to ensure a comprehensive integrated engineering package. Our personnel are experienced in military and commercial design requirements and regulations.

The Columbia Group’s Rosenblatt Marine Technical Division (RMTD) has extensive experience in many different areas of environmental engineering.  We have the experience and expertise to solve problems related to wastes generated from ship operations, such as bilgewater, graywater, and ballast.  We solve important problems regarding the generation and disposal of waste.  We also provide assessments and information to ship operators who are responding to regulatory authorities regarding local requirements for discharges.

The Columbia Group’s Rosenblatt Marine Technical Division (RMTD) maintains an electrical engineering staff with broad electrical systems design and analysis experience in feasibility studies, new ship designs, major conversions, overhauls, and repairs.  We are proficient in the application of U.S. Navy specifications, as well as USCG, ABS, SOLAS, IEEE-Std-45, IEC, COLREGS, and NEC requirements.  We have experience providing direct support to customers such as NAVSEA, USCG ELC, MSC HQ, NOAA, and commercial shipyards.  Our electrical engineers have a reputation of communicating with the customer in order to provide solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
